I perform better in all areas when I am in a positive mood.
But sometimes switching to a positive mood is easier said than done. Through evolution I am hardwired to focus on the negatives to survive.
So I can experience 9 fabulous things in a week and one negative, and guess what I will take into the weekend to dwell on?
Like everyone else, for me it takes extra effort to work on staying in a positive mood.
The simple structure I use is to keep coming back to what’s most important to me – my 3 priority values, Health, Growth, and Nature – and the visualisation of what I want to manifest in the future. Then take an action which is aligned with that.
I know from experience that if I keep taking actions in line with what’s most important to me and where I’m headed, whether I’m in the right mood for it or not, then gradually life just gets better and better.
