A long word that helps create structure for the work / life balance we choose.
We do our best work when we are not nicely balanced between business, family, and leisure. But when we are deliberately and appropriately out of balance – when we compartmentalise and completely focus on being at work, being with the family, or all in enjoying leisure time.
When we’re ‘all in’ on one thing, it’s likely there’s lots of stuff in other area that’s awaiting completion. But this is mentally handled when we have scheduled blocked time to go back to it. As long as it’s not too far ahead.
This helps us enjoy the moments more when we’re fully immersed in the flow of our current activities.
Guilt free.
